Discussion

WEBINAR 1

(50 minutes)

Guiding questions: Should we / how can we include the struggle to dismantle corporate power in our trade work ? Also comments / questions on inputs. If not enough question, call on people to share their experience w. corporations & link w. their trade work.

In Europe we might have an European Citizen Initiative which would call on banning ISDS and support the UN treaty. Do we want to have a similar initiative at the international level?

What are important timelines for the trade and treaty campaigners, and can we enforce each others campaigns?

On speakers: I suggest that  Lucile does the introduction,       Rachmi for Input 1 (it would be good to take also examples       South-East Asia but also in LAC if possible..), I could support       with Input 2 and suggest Alberto for Input 3 as he knows very well       the subject as well as the proposal of the Global Campaign on the       Binding Treaty + Carole 2 min on French Law.
