Monopoly in patent rights must definitely be challenged by competition, hence production can be conducted on a larger and wider scale in order to produce cheaper and more affordable prices. With a patent right, there will be no other company that can produce generically for sure. Eventually, the IPR monopoly in the health sector will encourage open commercialization of basic needs in the people’s lives.
